Travel Information

Berlin and Hamburg International Airports can be reached within 2.5 h by train or car. A detailed timetable for the train connections can be obtained at the travel service of the Deutsche Bahn from: www.reiseauskunft.bahn.de. To reach Greifswald by car it is easiest to take the motorway A20.

An alternative air connection is to arrive in Germany via Munich and take a connecting flight to Rostock/Laage which is situated near the motorways A19 and A20.

Train from TXL: Take bus TXL from Tegel Airport (leaves hourly at 6 min past the full hour) – direction "S+U Alexanderplatz" to S+U Hauptbahnhof. From here, take a regional train to Greifswald.

Train from SXF: Take regional train RB 28316 (leaves hourly at 55 min past the full hour) direction "Nauen" to Main Station. From here, take a regional train to Greifswald.
